NOTE

Ensure your TV supports 5.1 channel pass-through via HDMI ARC. Click HERE to view a list of TV that supports 5.1 channel pass-through

Option 1 (TV supports 5.1 audio pass-through):

Connect Xfinity (HDMI OUT) to TV HDMI input with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable (18Gbps) for high quality video and audio. Recommended HDMI Cable >

Audio will be sent out via TV's HDMI ARC to soundbar HDMI 1 ARC

Option 2 (TV do not support 5.1 audio pass-through):

Video: Connect Xfinity (HDMI OUT) to TV HDMI input with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable.

Audio: Connect Xfinity (Optical Out) to soundbar Optical input.

Not all TV channels are broadcasting in Dolby Digital audio format. Refer to your channel info for more information.

It is reported that the Xfinity X1 may experience sound skipping with Dolby Digital audio. It is recommended to set to Stereo output if you are experiencing such behavior. Xfinity Community Forum >

Press INFO button on soundbar remote control to verify audio format received on soundbar (Dolby Digital / DTS for best audio)

Observe the LED light status at the front of soundbar when playing content (3 LED = Dolby Digital; 2 LED = DTS)
