STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:

NOTE

Option 1: Connect Samsung Blu-ray Player (HDMI Out) to soundbar HDMI input with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable (18Gbps) for high quality video and audio. Recommended HDMI Cable

 

Option 2 (For contents which require HDCP 2.2 standard):

Video: Connect Samsung Blu-ray Player (HDMI Out) to TV with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable (18Gbps)

Audio: Connect Samsung Blu-ray Player to soundbar with an Optical cable

For Bluray disc playback, check out your disc audio setup to verify the audio formats available. Select Dolby Digital or DTS audio tracks for optimal experience with the soundbar

For maximum stability, set HDMI Color Format to AutoSee video setting space for detailed instructions >

For Dolby Atmos support, ensure your Bluray player is certified to support Dolby Digital Plus format at minimum (Dolby TrueHD format for lossless Dolby Atmos audio)

For DTS:X support, ensure your Bluray player is certified to support DTS-HD Master Audio format

For maximum stability, set HDMI Color Format to AutoSee video setting space for detailed instructions >

select HDMI Audio

select HDMI Audio (Option 1) or Optical (Option 2)

select Bitstream (Unprocessed)

3. AUDIO FORMAT (STREAMING CONTENT)

Press Home button on the remote >

Audio Output Format >

select Bitstream (Re-encoded to Dolby Digital)

Option 1: Switch the soundbar to HDMI input and observe the LED light status at the front of soundbar when playing content (3 LED = Dolby Digital; 2 LED = DTS)

 

Option 2: Switch the soundbar to OPTICAL input and observe the LED light status at the front of soundbar when playing content (3 LED = Dolby Digital; 2 LED = DTS)
