Connect Roku Express 4K (HDMI OUT) to soundbar HDMI 2 or 3 (processing prioritized ports) with a HDMI-certified High-Speed 2.0 cable (18Gbps) for high quality video and audio. Recommended HDMI Cable >

Ensure your TV HDMI ARC port supports HDCP 2.2 standard to allow 4K HDR/Dolby Vision display. Check your TV manual for more information.

Audio will be sent out via TV's HDMI ARC to soundbar HDMI 1 ARC

Ensure your TV supports 5.1 channel pass-through via HDMI ARC. Click HERE to view a list of TV that supports 5.1 channel pass-through

1. VIDEO SETTINGS

Click on the arrow button at the sides of the image to go forward/backward for settings. (Click on image to enlarge)

Sequence:

  1. Settings > Display type

  2. Display type > Auto detect

2. VIDEO DISPLAY SETTINGS

Sequence:

  1. Settings > System > Advanced system settings

  2. Advanced system settings > Advanced display settings > Auto-adjust display refresh rate

  3. Auto-adjust display refresh rate > Select Off

  4. Advanced system settings > HDR subsampling > Select 4:2:0 

  5. Advanced system settings > HDR always on > Select On

NOTE

Play Dolby Vision / HDR contents on Netflix to verify video output format. Your TV will display a notification mentioning the Dolby Vision / HDR format is activated
