HDMI CEC SETTINGS FOR SEAMLESS CONTROLS

Select your Fire TV model for corresponding instruction:

Fire TV Cube
Fire TV 4K

Setup Tutorial Video:

Step-By-Step Procedure:

CONNECT AMAZON FIRE TV 4K DIRECTLY TO TV HDMI INPUT

 and send the audio to soundbar via TV's HDMI ARC

Note: Refresh the soundbar to re-establish HDMI connection with TV after scheduled auto-updates.

1. Unplug the AC power cord of soundbar from the wall outlet

2. Wait for 2 mins to fully discharge the soundbar

3. Plug the AC power cord back into the wall outlet 

Setting HDMI CEC

1. Go to Settings screen

2. Select Display & Sounds

3. Set HDMI CEC Device Control to ON

Note:

Due to the natural of streaming devices are in standby mode when it is turned off, we recommend the following instruction for HDMI CEC:

1 . Use the Amazon Fire TV remote control to press any button to wake up Fire TV. This will send the HDMI-CEC signal to power ON our soundbar immediately followed by powering ON the TV.

Recommended Setup:

 and send the audio to soundbar via TV's HDMI ARC

Setting Alexa Voice Control

These are the controls available for Alexa voice control:

1. Power ON/OFF

2. Volume +/-

3. Mute/Unmute

4. Switch the input that connects to Fire TV Cube

Setting Alexa Voice Control

1. Go to Settings screen

3. Select Set Up Equipment Again

4. Follow on screen instruction to enable Alexa to control your devices. Click Continue to proceed

5. Select I use a soundbar

6. Select Nakamichi

Setting Alexa Voice Control Parameters

a. Adjust Volume Increments: 

Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Soundbar > Volume Increments

b. Adjust Power Delay:

Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Soundbar > Power Controls > Power On Delay

c. Select Volume Control Device Priority:

Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Advanced Settings > Volume Control Device > Soundbar

d. Select Power On Priority:

Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Advanced Settings > Power On Input > Fire TV Cube

Setting HDMI CEC

 

1. Go to Settings screen

2. Select Display & Sounds

3. Set HDMI CEC Device Control to ON

Setting the Fire TV to recognize TV input:

 

Settings > Equipment Control > Fire TV > TV input > Set it to the TV ARC port that the soundbar is connected

Note:

Due to the nature of streaming devices are in standby mode when it is turned off, we recommend the following instruction for HDMI CEC:
