ASUS Router Testing

Prerequisite: You will need access to the ASUS Web Portal to adjust these settings.

 

1. Login to your ASUS router account (this is different from your WiFi Name and password. Usually, you can go to router.asus.com or 192.168.1.1 to login.

4a. For Dual Band Routers: Under 5Ghz, Set the following channels on your router and soundbar

4b. For Tri Band Routers, Set the following Channels on your router and soundbar

For Tri-Band Routers with DFS Channels (100-128)

For Tri-Band Routers with NO DFS Channels (100-128)

For such Routers, You will need to change the channel width of your 2nd 5Ghz Channel (5Ghz-2) to 40MHz Or Less.

BONUS:

If you do not have access to the web portal, but can access the ASUS Router app, try turning OFF “Enable 160Mhz Bandwidth” and see if you can find a WL-C_ Channel that works for your case. This solution is not as solid as the abovementioned, but might do in a pinch:
