STEP 1: HARD RESET
TV has scheduled auto-updates. Refresh the Shockwafe to receive fresh data from the TV.

Unplug the sound bar’s AC power cord from the wall outlet
-
Wait 30 seconds
-
Plug the AC power cord back into the wall outlet.
STEP 2: CONNECTING HDMI CABLE AND SETTING SOURCE

TV source: HDMI (ARC)
Shockwafe source: HDMI 1
STEP 3: SETTING TV’S SPEAKER OUTPUT

Settings > Sound > Speaker Settings/Select Speaker:
Via HDMI: TV Sound Output > Receiver (HDMI)
For newer TV's:

Once “Receiver(HDMI)” is selected the TV will show “Connecting Anynet+ Receiver”.

Once connected, “audio play” icon will appear next to Receiver(HDMI).
Via Optical: TV Sound Output > Audio Out (Optical)
STEP 4: SETTING TV’S AUDIO FORMAT
For OLDER Samsung TV's, connected via HDMI ARC

Settings > Sound > Additional setting/ Expert settings

Select Audio format > Set as Dolby Digital / DTS / DTS Neo (Not PCM)
For NEWER Samsung TV's, connected via HDMI ARC
-
Settings > Sound > Additional setting/ Expert settings
-
HDMI Audio Format > Bitstream
-
Select Audio format > Dolby Digital / DTS (Not PCM)
OR
1. Settings > Sound > Digital output > Bitstream (Unprocessed)
STEP 5: CONNECTING ANYNETT++ (VIA HDMI CEC)
For OLDER TV's

Settings > System > Select Anynet++ (HDMI CEC) > Turn On

Search for Devices > TV starts search

Press OK once AUDIO SYSTEM/RECEIVER (Nakamichi) is found.

The sound bar will now be connected to the TV.
For NEWER TV's

Settings > System > Expert Settings
-
Anynet++ (HDMI CEC) > Turn On
-
Check that it is connected: Sound > Select speaker (Receiver-HDMI)
