I Am Not Getting Any Audio On My Soundbar

HDMI ARC [BEST]
-
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI 1 port on the soundbar and the other end to your TV's HDMI ARC port
-
Press the SOURCE button on the Shockwafe remote to HDMI 1 or HDMI ARC
-
Using the TV remote, switch the HDMI source on the TV that your movie is playing
-
Perform a HDMI refresh
Still no sound? Continue troubleshooting

Do a hard reset on the soundbar by unplugging the soundbar from the power source, wait 5 minutes and plug it back in
-
Power on the soundbar

Set up your TV’s audio output and HDMI-CEC (Actual steps may differ):

Go to Settings > Sound tab
-
Verify the Sound output is set to Receiver (HDMI)
-
Go to Settings > General tab > Select External Device Manager
-
Set HDMI-CEC to On
-
The sound bar will now be connected to the TV.

Click on the following options to get AUDIO setup for the various TV brands:

HDMI 2, HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 CONNECTION [BEST]

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI 2/3/4 port on the soundbar, and the other end to your source/streaming device’s HDMI output

Press the SOURCE button on the Shockwafe remote to HDMI 2, 3 or 4
-
Play a movie on your source device or streaming device

Using the TV remote, switch source to HDMI (ARC) input on the TV
Still no sound? Continue troubleshooting

Do a hard reset on the sound bar by unplugging the sound bar from the power source, wait 5 minutes and plug it back in

Ensure that the correct input source on our soundbar is selected
-
Ensure there is a movie being played on your source device or streaming device

OPTICAL CONNECTION [BETTER]
Audio Connection:
-
Connect one end of the optical cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s Optical Output to the soundbar’s Optical Input (Audio will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the soundbar)

Press the SOURCE button on the soundbar remote and switch to OPTICAL mode
Video Connection:
-
Connect one end of the HDMI cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s HDMI Output to your TV’s HDMI Input. Video will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the TV
-
Press the SOURCE button on the TV remote and switch to the HDMI input that is connected to your Blu-ray/streaming device
No video?
Streaming devices:
-
Make sure your Blu-ray/streaming device HDMI output is connected to the TV’s HDMI Input. Switch your TV source to the correct HDMI input source
-
Unplug and replug the HDMI cable, ensure both end of the HDMI cable is securely plug to the Blu-ray/streaming device and the TV
-
Make sure that you are using a HDMI 2.0 cable
COAXIAL CONNECTION [BETTER]
Audio Connection:
-
Connect one end of the coaxial cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s Coaxial Output to the soundbar’s Coaxial Input (Audio will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the soundbar)

Press the SOURCE button on the soundbar remote and switch to COAXIAL mode
Video Connection:
-
Connect one end of the HDMI cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s HDMI Output to your TV’s HDMI Input. Video will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the TV

Press the SOURCE button on the TV remote and switch to the HDMI input that is connected to your Blu-ray/streaming device
No video?
Streaming devices:

Make sure your Blu-ray/streaming device HDMI output is connected to the TV’s HDMI Input. Switch your TV source to the correct HDMI input source

Unplug and replug the HDMI cable, ensure both end of the HDMI cable is securely plug to the Blu-ray/streaming device and the TV

Make sure that you are using a HDMI 2.0 cable
AUX CONNECTION [GOOD]
Audio Connection:

Connect one end of the optical cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s AUX Output to the soundbar’s AUX Input (Audio will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the soundbar)

Press the SOURCE button on the soundbar remote and switch to AUX mode
(If you are using a CD or music player, do not need to perform the following steps)
Video Connection:

Connect one end of the HDMI cable from Blu-ray/streaming device’s HDMI Output to your TV’s HDMI Input. Video will be sent from your Blu-ray/streaming device to the TV

Press the SOURCE button on the TV remote and switch to the HDMI input that is connected to your Blu-ray/streaming device
No video?
