Lip sync is a result of audio and video does not in synchronisation. This issue is more significant on streaming contents whereby the network bandwidth and quality cannot be assured. 

 

Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 DTS:X, Elite 7.2 DTS:X & Pro 7.1 DTS:X

The models mentioned above include a lip-sync adjustment to compensate the time difference between video and audio.

 

To compensate the lip-sync,

1. Press the LIP SYNC +/- button on soundbar's remote control to compensate the audio with video

(Applicable for HDMI input 1 -4, Optical and Coaxial inputs)

Alternatively, you can determine and rectify the issue on the TV or streaming:

Solution 1:

Most TV's and streaming devices has a inbuilt lip-sync control, adjust the lip-sync level.

Steps may differ: Go to Settings > Audio > Lip Sync

Solution 2:

 

If the problem is occurring on the TV

1. connect the sound bar to TV via HDMI ARC

If the problem is occurring on the streaming device

1. Unplug the streaming device and connect the device directly to the TV

2. Connect the TV to sound bar via HDMI ARC

3. Using the TV inbuilt lip-sync control, adjust the level. 

 

Shockwafe Pro 7.1

First determine if the problem is occurring from the TV or the streaming device. 

 

There are 2 ways to eliminate this problem

Solution 1:

Most TV's and streaming devices has a inbuilt lip-sync control, adjust the lip-sync level.

Steps may differ: Go to Settings > Audio > Lip Sync

Solution 2:

 

If the problem is occurring on the TV

1. connect the sound bar to TV via HDMI ARC

If the problem is occurring on the streaming device

1. Unplug the streaming device and connect the device directly to the TV

2. Connect the TV to sound bar via HDMI ARC

3. Using the TV inbuilt lip-sync control, adjust the level.
