If you do not have the latest version, please read this carefully before performing your upgrade
  1. The firmware is downloadable on PC / Mac only.
  2. Please follow the instructions stated on the Installation Guide on this page to ensure smooth upgrade.
  3. It is crucial to perform a Soundbar Reset after firmware installation is completed.

Firmware 1.3 - Sep 16, 2016

Firmware 1.3 has the ability to up-mix any 2.0ch (PCM, Dolby or DTS) to 5.1ch. With the up-mixing, the center vocals are now brighter and the rear speakers are louder and clearer. (Firmware 1.3 includes all previous versions.)

Firmware 1.0 - Jun 24, 2016

Firmware 1.0 further enhances the sound bar's performance and user experience. We have made improvements to several EQs and improved the overall immersiveness of the system by increasing the volume of the rear speakers by 6dB and fixed Apple TV's remote IR interference.

Firmware 1.4 - Nov 10, 2016

  • Corrected all audio anomalies (eg. static, popping, audio breaking up)
  • Compatible with the Dolby Digital's core layer of Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital plus via HDMI, Optical and Coaxial inputs (Applicable for Dolby-certified Blu-ray player)
  • Higher audio resolution when played through Bluetooth
  • Volume on the satellite speakers are increased by 25%.

Firmware 1.2 - Aug 29, 2016

Firmware 1.2 has CEC enabled, and when used with a CEC compatible TV, you will be able to control the sound bar's volume up/down and power off function with your TV remote. (Firmware 1.2 includes all previous versions.)

Firmware 1.4+ - Apr 4, 2017

  • Heightening centre channel immersiveness by enhancing vocals for all content.
  • Increase audio resolution for Bluetooth audio playback.

INSTALLATION (A Step-by-step guide)

  • Only drives with these specs will work: USB2.0; Max Drive Size: 32GB.
  • Do not remove USB drive or turn off your Soundbar while upgrading.
  • Do not plug USB drive into the Subwoofer(s).

  • If the soundbar display is stuck on UPG or upgrade is not performing, it means your USB drive is not compatible. 

  • If the soundbar is stuck permanently displaying UPG even after turning off, perform the following:

    • Power off the soundbar, plug in a proper spec'd usb drive with the firmware files, the upgrade will resume once soundbar is powered on.
