RECOMMENDED AUDIO SETTINGS FOR BEST AUDIO EXPERIENCE
Recommended Setup:
CONNECT NVIDIA SHIELD DIRECTLY TO TV HDMI INPUT
Audio will be send to soundbar via TV's HDMI ARC.
NOTE: Ensure your TV supports 5.1 channel pass-through via HDMI ARC

Step-By-Step Procedure:
Setting Audio Format
1. Go to Settings screen
2. Select Display & Sounds
3. Select Advanced Settings

4. Select Surround Sound

5. Set to Always

6. Set Stereo Upmix OFF

7. Set Fixed Volume ON

8. Set HDMI 5.1 Audio ON (For 2017 model)
For Netflix streaming:
While streaming the content:
1. Navigate to Digital Output Format on your TV
2. Set to Dolby Digital

For Amazon Prime Video streaming:
While streaming the content:
1. Navigate to Digital Output Format on your TV
2. Set to Dolby Digital (for Nvidia Shield 2017) or DTS Neo 2:5 (for Nvidia Shield 2015 with stereo streaming only)

For Youtube streaming (Stereo PCM only):
While streaming the content:
1. Navigate to Digital Output Format on your TV
2. Set to DTS Neo 2:5 or equivalent audio format
